Rotala wallichii is a beautiful stem plant that grows in South-East Asian waters that are soft and slightly acidic. It blooms with flowers that are bright purple. Even though it’s not easy to grow, this plant is very popular.

Rotala wallichii was a stem plant with small, finely-toothed, reddish-pink to pink leaves. It looks best when there are a lot of stems in a group. It can also be used in the foreground and in smaller tanks if it is cut at the right time. Adding CO2 to the air helps plants grow a lot. It likes water that is soft and a bit acidic.
