Microsorum pteropus var. Latifolius is also known as the Java Fern Latifolius. This Broadleaf Java Fern is well suitable for any medium to the large aquarium because the leaf size can grow quite long, approximately 15 inches or over.
This classic Java Fern, with its huge, broad leaves, has long been regarded as a low-maintenance aquarium plant with a wide range of applications that thrive as an epiphyte on rocks and driftwood.
There are lots of different varieties of Microsorum species including but not limited to hardy leaf, soft leaf, narrow leaf, broadleaf, petite leaf, longleaf, wavy leaf, trident leaf, etc. Like any other Microsorum species, Java Fern Broad Leaf can be attached to driftwood, stone, rock, and other aquarium decorations.
