As with other Cryptocoryne species, Cryptocoryne Ferruginea Sekadauensis is extremely sensitive to environmental changes such as water quality, lighting, fertilizer, and temperature. During the transitional phase of Cryptocoryne, the plant will likely shed its leaves or melt. It is better to let them have a few weeks to see if they recover and regenerate. If Cryptocoryne is able to adapt to its new environment, several new plants will sprout from its rhizome.
