Anubias Minima is a popular plant in the aquarium trade. Its also known as Anubias Barteri var. Glabra, but it can be commonly found under the name of Anubias Minima. Some leaves may have variegated patterns and it is a very unique and beautiful aquarium plant that has narrow shapes and wavy leaves which make this species stand out in any aquascape.
Anubias Minima is a great beginner plant for any aquarium enthusiast. It can grow to be as tall as 12 inches and will provide cover for your fish and fry from predators such as cichlids and other large, aggressive fish species. The leaves of this plant are also perfect for hiding small fry that has just hatched out of their eggs, giving them the protection they need until they’re big enough to fend for themselves in the open water column. The roots will attach themselves to rocks and driftwood if they are present in the tank.
