Rotala sp. Vietnam is also called the “Long Leaf” Rotala Wallichii. Rotala sp. Vietnam prefers soft water, good lighting, a steady supply of carbon dioxide (CO2), and regular, full fertilization with both macro and micronutrients. Strong lighting gives the leaves their best reddish color. When things are going well, the growth is quite fast. This Rotala is easy to spread by cuttings, just like other stem plants. Rotala sp. Vietnam looks best in larger groups in the middle to back of aquariums that aren’t too small. This plant makes the fine-leaved Rotala even more interesting by adding a new texture and color to the mix.
