Persicaria sp. ‘Sao Paulo’ is one of the most stunning aquarium plants with deep red, purple, and magenta color when it grows fully submerged. When it grows above water, the leave is green in color and grow upright.
Persicaria sp. ‘Sao Paulo’ is often confused with another plant in the trade which is Persicaria sp. ‘Kawagoeanum’. Both plants are very similar and maybe actually the same species. But we are still in the dark because there is no clear evidence of it yet.
