Echinodorus Red Flame is a magnificent cultivar selected by Hans Barth sen. With its vivid color and interesting color pattern, Echinodorus Red Flame is an aquarium eyecatcher. The spot pattern remains on older leaves. The blotched pattern is stronger and denser than Echinodorus Ozelot.
Echinodorus Red Flame is cultivating in emersed form, with inconspicuous green leaves. Once in the aquarium, submerged foliage will develop a red hue. Like other Echinodorus species, Echinodorus Red Flame thrives with abundant macro and micronutrients. Strong light and CO2 also increase the red hue of submerged foliage. Echinodorus Red Flame is well suitable for medium to a large aquariums.
