The Cryptocoryne crispatula var. balansae plant has little maintenance. It thrives in hard water with a high calcium concentration and enjoys moderate to bright light. It requires a good fertilization regimen, which may be complemented with a rich substrate fertilizer, for the best growth. Once established, the plant grows quickly and requires minimal care.
